PRESCOTT, Ariz. (July 2, 2025)

The Yavapai College Softball team is pleased to announce the signing of transfer pitcher Sofi Wagner-Stiles!

Sofi played at Talladega College in Alabama, where she was a 1st team All-Conference Pitcher in the HBCU Athletic Conference. Wagner-Stiles finished the 2025 season with a 3.32 ERA and averaged an impressive 7.42 strikeouts per game. She also led the conference with 1.22 walks and hits per inning pitched (WHIP).

Yavapai College Athletic Director Tim Kneip commented: "Our primary mission this off-season was to assemble a dominant pitching staff.  Sofi is a proven game-changer from the pitching circle, and we are very excited to have her join the team."
