HOF Lettering

The Yavapai College Athletics’ Hall of Fame was established in 2012 and sets out to honor some of the great Roughrider student-athletes that competed in the green and gold. Student-Athletes enshrined in the Hall of Fame are chosen by the Hall of Fame selection committee, composed of administrators, staff, faculty and people close to Roughrider Athletics. Athletics’ Hall of Fame selection is based on one or more of the following criteria: All-America recognition, NJCAA Champion, world-record setter, Olympic medal, NJCAA statistical leader and significant contribution to sports and graduation. Plaques describing the athletic achievements of each inductee are displayed in building two in two separate exhibit areas. In addition to the Hall, the Roughriders hold a rich tradition in the JUCO community as they boast 16 National Championships in intercollegiate competition. Athletes become eligible for enshrinement five years after their sophomore class has graduated.
