The 2026 Yavapai Softball schedule has been released!

Yavapai Softball begins a new era of Softball with head coach Dann Giesey, and he has added 60 games to this year's spring slate.

Yavapai opens their season on Friday, January 23rd, where they will be participating in the Pima Softball Invitational for two days. Then, the team will head over to Henderson, NV to face off against 5 teams in the CSN Kickoff Classic, beginning on January 30th.

Yavapai will have their home opener on February 27th against Central Arizona. February 27th is also the first day of conference play in the ACCAC, and Yavapai will participate in 32 conference match-ups (16 home, 16 away). 

The Softball Roughriders aim to make another appearance in the post season, which begin on May 8th. Last season, YC went 22-23 total (14-18 conference record) and landed as the 4-seed in the NJCAA Region 1 Postseason Tournament. In the double-elimination tournament, Yavapai knocked off 1-seeded Eastern Arizona, but fell short in match-ups against 3-seed Arizona Western and 2-seed Southern Nevada.

New head coach Dann Giesey says that this season "...is filled with really tough games throughout the schedule.  We will definitely challenge ourselves as we look to regain our championship level of play."
