PRESCOTT, Ariz. (March 16, 2026)

Yavapai College is on Spring Break this week, but there are still sports to be played! Yavapai Baseball and Softball will participate in 8 total games this week, 5 of which are right here in sunny Prescott, Arizona!

Baseball  

Last weekend, Yavapai Baseball faced off at home against Arizona Western, and Yavapai would go 12 against the Matadors.

This week, the Roughriders will compete in 4 more games.

On Wednesday, March 18th, Yavapai will face off in a single home game against Langley Blaze. That game will begin at 2 PM.

Then, over the weekend, Yavapai will head down to Thatcher to face off against ACCAC rival Eastern Arizona in a 3-game series.

Games 1 and 2 will be on Friday, March 20th, starting at 12 & 2:30 PM.

The final game of the series will be on Saturday, March 21st, and the first pitch will be at Noon.

Softball

The Yavapai Softball team has not played a game since the weekend of March 7-8, and they are hungry for more conference wins!

This weekend, the Roughriders will host a 4-game conference series against the Coyotes of Southern Nevada.

On Friday, March 20th, Games 1 and 2 will begin at 12 & 2 PM.

On Saturday, March 21st, the final two games of the series will begin at 11 AM and 1 PM.
