Yavapai Men's Basketball Sophomore Guard Torin Bosch has been awarded the ACCAC D1 MBB Player of the Week in Week 2!

Bosch has had a stellar start to his Roughrider career. Last week, he played heavy minutes off the bench in the home opener vs. New Mexico Military Institute, and started in the home game against South Mountain.

Throughout that two-game span, Bosch averaged 21.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, 2 assists, and 1 steal per game. 

Coming off the bench vs. NMMI, Bosch showed his strengths as an excellent free throw shooter, going 11-12 at the line in clutch time. He finished that game with 23 points and 4 rebounds.

Bosch would start the next game against South Mountain, and his perfect 11-11 at the free throw line was the push the Roughriders needed to win over the Cougars 73-69. His 20 point, 11 rebound double-double doesn't hurt his case either!

Bosch would finish these two games 22-23 from the line, a ridiculous 95.7% free throw percentage.
