1997 Men's Soccer Team	First Roughrider team to capture National Championship with unbeaten record Outscored their competition in the playoffs by a combined score of 12-0 17 shutouts and only 10 goals allowed all season Outscored their opponents 110-10 23-0-1 Overall Record Conference, Region, District and National Champions
Kevin Jeffrey, Men's Soccer (1996-97)	1997 National Champion 38 career goals scored (sixth in program history), 23 assists (10th in program history) and 99 points (seventh in program history) 1996 & 1997 NJCAA All-Tournament Team Led the 1997 Championship team in goals (31), assists (15) and points (77) 1997: All-Conference, All-Region, NSCAA All-America, NJCAA All-America, ACCAC Player of the Year, NSCAA JUCO Player of the Year, Team Captain, Team MVP, Team Most Inspirational Player NJCAA Hall of Fame member Scored six postseason goals, including one in the National Championship game Went on to an illustrious career at VCU and as a professional
Jim McKaskle, Baseball Coach, English Department (1972-77)	Coached baseball at YC from 1972-77, including the 1975 and 1977 National Championship Teams Team won over 200+ games under McKaskle and Head Coach Gary Ward Led the recruiting efforts for the Roughriders, focused in Tucson While coaching, McKaskle was also an English instructor at YC and rose all the way up to Department Chair before departing
Haley Shackelford-Neufeld, Volleyball (2009-10)	2010 Second-Team NJCAA All-American First-Team All-Conference and First-Team All-Region in 2009 and 2010 2009: NJCAA POTW and 2X ACCAC Player of the Week 2010: ACCAC POTW Helped lead the Roughriders to a 51-27 overall record while at YC
Jenna Rodriguez-DiPrima, Softball (2008-09)	2009 National Champion 2008 & 2009: First-Team All-Conference and First-Team All-Region 2008: NFCA Second-Team All-American 2009: NJCAA & NFCA First-Team All-American Tossed a one-run CG in the National Championship game in 2009 Top-ten at YC in the following statistical categories: hits, homers and RBIs as a hitter and wins, innings pitched, ERA, strikeouts and shutouts as a pitcher
