The Yavapai Softball team has just completed their 4-game home series against ACCAC rival Southern Nevada.
Across the two days, certain players stood out and made some excellent plays! One of these players in
Danica Kern, the Freshman from Flagstaff, who had 7 hits in 4 games, resulting in 2 Doubles and 2 RBI's!
Kayley Gibbs also made an impact on the offense, batting in 3, while
Eniyah Dominguez and
Sofia Romero each had 2 RBI's.
Daisy Smith had 13 strikeouts in 11 innings pitched, while
Olivia Durazo had 7 in 8 IP.
The Yavapai catchers were extraordinary behind the plate, combining for 27 total putouts and each catching a runner stealing a base.
Tamryn Tucker had 6 fielding assists as the Third Baseman.
Yavapai Softball went 0-4 against the Coyotes unfortunately and are now sitting at an 11-16 record.

Yavapai Softball is on the road next week for a Double-Header on Tuesday the 24th at Paradise Valley. The games will begin at 12 and 2 pm.
