PRESCOTT, Ariz. (September 15, 2025)

Yavapai College Athletics are officially in the stage of the Fall Sports where conference play can determine who are the contenders, and who are the pretenders!

Last week, there were many away games for the three Fall sports, but this week, the action comes back to Prescott!

Women's Soccer

Last week, Yavapai WSOC began their conference play, and unfortunately were unable to take down Arizona Western and Southern Nevada.

This week, Yavapai has one conference game at home, and it is against the Mohave Bighorns! Their game will take place on Tuesday, September 16th, kicking off at 4:30 PM at Ken Lindley Field.

Yavapai's non-conference game vs. Community Christian has been postponed. More information will be revealed throughout the season.

Men's Soccer

Yavapai Men's Soccer had a bit of a slow start, but after last week, they are officially 1-1 in the conference standings! A tight 0-2 loss at Arizona Western gave them the motivation required to take down Southern Nevada 2-0 on Saturday!

This week, Yavapai MSOC will resume conference play at home! Starting off tomorrow, September 16th, Yavapai will face off against nationally-ranked #19 Mohave. That game kicks off at 7 PM at Ken Lindley Field.

Then, on Saturday, September 20th, Yavapai plays a non-conference game against Community Christian! That game kicks off at 7 PM at home.

Volleyball

Yavapai Volleyball has had some tough early season games due to inner-conference teams being nationally-ranked, but their luck will turn around for this week!

On Wednesday, September 17th, Yavapai VB will host their first conference home game! The Matadors of Arizona Western will make their way up from Yuma for a 7 PM first serve.

Then, Yavapai will make their way to Henderson for a Southern Nevada showdown! Yavapai vs. CSN will be this Friday, September 19th, at 7 PM.
