PRESCOTT, Ariz. (August 25, 2025)

Last week, two of the three Fall Sports began their 2025-26 seasons with success, with Volleyball and Women's Soccer!

This week, Men's Soccer will join the fold and make their mark on the standings.

6 Home games will appear on the schedule for this week, so make sure to come out to these team's home openers and support your Yavapai Roughriders!

Women's Soccer

The Yavapai Women's Soccer team just came back from the Snow College Invitational, where they won both of their games, propelling them to 2-0 on the season!

This week, Women's Soccer will return home to play on their field for the first time this season! The Home Opener is this Tuesday, August 26th, against Scottsdale CC. This game kicks off at 4:30 PM.

Then, on Friday, August 29th, the Roughriders will return to Ken Lindley for their second home game of the season, this time against Laramie County. That game will start right at 6 PM.

Men's Soccer

Yavapai Men's Soccer is back and better than ever! With new head coach Giorgi Manzula, the 7-time national champions are ready to kick off their season with a bang!

Their Home Opener will be against Scottsdale this Tuesday, August 26th at 7 PM. make sure to come out and cheer loud for the good guys!

Then, on Saturday, August 30th, Pima CC will make their way up from Tucson to play at Ken Lindley against the Roughriders. That game kicks off at 6 PM.

Volleyball

The Yavapai Volleyball team started off 1-2 after their trip down to Yuma to participate in the Arizona Western Invitational. 

This week, however, Volleyball has two home games to help propel them up the standings!

On Wednesday, August 27th, Yavapai Volleyball's Home Opener will be against Chandler-Gilbert CC! This game begins at 7 PM in Walraven Gymnasium.

Then, on Saturday, August 30th, Yavapai will take on Westcliff University! That game begins at 10 AM.
