The 2025 Yavapai Softball regular season is over, and the Roughriders have made it into the playoffs as the 4-seed! The Riders are getting ready to face off against the 1-seed Eastern Arizona this Friday at 11 AM, and a few of these players have been awarded with ACCAC and NJCAA awards for their performances throughout the season!


ACCAC All-Conference, 1st Team

Brianna Baca, INF: Brianna had a great sophomore season as she has been recognized as one of the top infielders in the conference! Baca had an impressive 65 hits this season in just 42 games, which included 12 doubles and 4 triples, allowing her to get a .425 batting average, one of the highest in the conference! Her speed allowed her to get 43 runs, and her RBI would end up being 21 by the end of the season. At shortstop, she had 69 assists on the field, 6th on the ACCAC, as well as 8 Double Plays, 13th in the conference! 

Olivia Boswell, OF: Hitting any fly ball was always a problem whenever Olivia Boswell was in center field, and with 81 total putouts on the season, Boswell has earned an outfielder spot on the ACCAC All-Conference First Team! The Freshman was also a force to be reckoned with at home plate, where she had 67 hits in 42 games (1 home run), batting in 17 and running in 47 runs! But the main reason Olivia has made the all-conference team is due to her knack to steal bases. She would end up stealing 29 bases by the end of the season, 4th-highest out of anyone in the ACCAC! 

ACCAC All-Conference, 2nd Team

Mackenzie Durr, P: The Freshman Pitcher had some excellent games this season, which is why she was given a spot on the ACCAC All-Conference 2nd Team! Mackenzie's ability to endure long games and still come out on top allowed her to receive 11 wins (6th in conference) while pitching 107.2 total innings in just 23 games. Durr definitely had the most strikeouts on her own team, but with 96 on the season, she was also top 5 in K's in the entire ACCAC! Mackenzie had 1 double play as well, as she had various plays this season that showcased her versatility within the infield.
