HENDERSON, Nev. (April 25, 2026)
The Yavapai Softball team has just completed their final regular season road series against Southern Nevada. YC was able to steal one game, winning 7-5 in the early game on Saturday.
Tamryn Tucker had 4 hits in this game on 4 plate appearances, including a Double and a Home Run! Tucker would bat in 3 on the day.
The Roughriders were not struck out once while at bat, while
Daisy Smith and
Ryder Wilmarth collectively tallied 4 K's while on the mound.Â
Throughout the weekend, Tucker had 7 total hits, including 3 Doubles and one Homer.
Danica Kern had 5 hits and 2 RBI, while
Georgia Wagner-Stiles had 3 RBI off of 4 hits.
Ryder Wilmarth pitched 8 innings total throughout the 4 games and tallied 6 strikeouts.
Yavapai Softball is 20-31 this season and are still able to make a playoffs push with some good luck!

Next weekend is the last Yavapai Softball home series of this season, as well as the last regular season series of the 2026 season. They will host Arizona Western on May 1st and 2nd; Games 1 and 2 on Friday at 12 & 2 PM, and Games 3 and 4 on Saturday at 11 am & 1 pm. Yavapai Softball Sophomore Day will happen before game 1 on Friday, May 1st.Â
