AJ Diaz, 3rd baseman for the Yavapai College Baseball team, hit a walk-off 1-run Home Run against #25 Arizona Western, winning 11-10 in the Bottom of the 9th!

Diaz hit a homer that went far right over the fence, making this his second HR of the year, and first walk-off Home Run this season.

This game went back and forth, with Western starting strong, Yavapai crawling back to take the lead, and then the Matadors coming back in the 8th to tie it at 10.

Diaz had 4 at bats and 2 hits in this game, with the other hit landing him a ticket straight to 1st base. He also had 2 runs and 2 RBI in the first game of this series.

Yavapai would go on to win 11-10 over the nationally-ranked Matadors of Yuma. 2 more games vs. AWC will take place tomorrow at Noon and 2:30 PM.
