PRESCOTT, Ariz. – Today, the Yavapai Women's Basketball team had their first conference match-up versus the Eastern Arizona Gila Monsters. Yavapai would end up falling to EAC 42-90.
The first half had some great defensive efforts from #13
Courtenay Lee, who was able to get a couple of blocks, as well as get some layups scored. #12
Tierra Bargeman also was able to rack up the scoreboard.
The second half had some offense coming from both #2
Na'ima Stenson and #22
Aysja Ward. Continued defense came from Lee, as she came in with more blocks and steals. #1
Amani Arraf came in and shot well from behind the arc.Â
UP NEXT
The Women's Basketball Team will play next Tuesday, Nov. 26th, against Phoenix College. They tip off at 5:30 pm.
