PRESCOTT, Ariz. (March 23, 2026)

Yavapai College's Spring Break is over, but the Spring Sports are launching into high gear this week with a staggering 13 games between both Baseball and Softball!

Softball

Yavapai Softball has 8 games this week, 6 of which are on the road.

On Tuesday, March 24th, Yavapai is heading down to the land of the Pumas to play Paradise Valley in a double-header. The games will begin at 12 & 2 PM.

Then, over the weekend, the Roughriders continue conference play with a road 4-game series at Arizona Western. Games 1 and 2 are on Friday the 27th at 9 and 11 am, while Games 3 and 4 will be the following day, also at 9 and 11 am.

Finally, the team will make their way back up to Prescott for a home double-header against the visiting Mustangs of Monroe University. These games will be played at Bill Vallely field on Sunday, March 29th, at 12 & 2 PM.

Baseball

The Yavapai Baseball team has been climbing up the standings, especially with their most recent wins at Eastern Arizona last weekend.

This week, Yavapai has 5 home games!

On Tuesday, March 24th, Yavapai is hosting a double-header against Ottawa University of Arizona. First pitches for these games will be thrown out at 12:30 and 2:30 pm.

Then, over the weekend, Yavapai is hosting ACCAC rival Cochise College, who is currently ranked 14th in the national poll. Games 1 and 2 will be this Friday the 27th at 12 & 2:30 PM. The final game will take place on Saturday, March 28th, with the first pitch being thrown at 1 PM.
