NORTH LAS VEGAS, Nev. (February 18, 2026)
The Yavapai Men's Basketball team needed a win tonight at Southern Nevada, but unfortunately, the Roughriders came up short on the road against the Coyotes.
Yavapai lost to Southern Nevada 86-66.
Rudolfs Svitins kept the good guys in the game, scoring 28 and going 12-17 from the floor.
Jason Parent had an easy 22, draining 2 of his three-pointers. Parent had 11 rebounds as well.
The Prescott High School graduates were not afraid to make unselfish offensive plays, as Parent and
Andrew Lyon each had 4 assists.
On the defensive end, Parent had 1 block and 4 total steals throughout his 38 minutes played.
Raphael Nibishaka, a defensive necessity for the Roughriders, had 2 blocks as a starter.
Yavapai Men's Basketball aims to keep their heads up on this road trip as they continue their 2025-26 season into the final three games of the regular season.
