The Yavapai Men's Basketball team has just lost their ACCAC match-up against Central Arizona, losing a close 80-84 game on the road.

Yavapai was down by 2 in the closing minute of the game, but a go-ahead three point shot by the Vaqueros allowed the home team to take the lead at the end.

Although the Roughriders lost the contest, Jason Parent made an excellent effort to keep Yavapai in the game. He finished with 32 points (game high), 11 rebounds (game high), and 3 steals.

Torin Bosch had 13, and Rudolfs Svitins had 9 off the bench. Parent and Svitins each had 2 assists as well.

Yavapai MBB has lost their first three conference games, all on the road. They would go on to loe this contest 80-84, and are now 9-9 on the season.

Yavapai will return home for next Wednesday's ACCAC match-up against Arizona Western. That game is on Wednesday, January 21st, and will tip off at 7:30 PM.
