HENDERSON, Nev. (January 14, 2026)
The Yavapai Men's Basketball team made their way up to Nevada earlier today to face off against the Coyotes of Southern Nevada. The Coyotes would win 80-64 on their home court.
The match-up was close in the first half, but the Coyotes would eventually pull away and lead by as many as 26 by halftime.
Timotey Zoonekynd had a team-high 14 points coming off the bench, while
Jason Parent had an 11-point, 11-rebound double-double.
Raijon Dispensa was able to grab a couple of steals for the Roughriders, and Parent had 2 blocks as well.
Yavapai would fall on the road to Southern Nevada 64-80 in Yavapai's second ACCAC conference match-up of the season.

Yavapai will continue their road trip into the weekend, where they will make their way down to Coolidge to face off against Central Arizona. That game tips off at 4 PM on Saturday, January 17th.
