HENDERSON, NEV. – Earlier today, the Yavapai Baseball team played in their third Playoffs game vs. #14 Southern Nevada, and despite the tremendous comeback in game 2, this game resulted in a Roughrider loss.

Yavapai scored 2 runs to the Coyotes' 12.

Brady Francisco had a 1-run home run in this game! Liam Richards had the other run in the game, where he stole home after a wild pitch gone wrong.

Chase Blease had 2 strikeouts in 1 inning, and Owen Fernandes had 1 facing 5 batters!

Double Plays came from Justin Cherrington, Matthew Peterson, and Kevin Ramos.

Season Summary

The 2025 Yavapai Baseball Roughriders finished the entire season 33-22, with a 1-2 postseason record. 

Matthew Peterson led the ACCAC with 13 Home Runs, and Justin Cherrington was right behind him with 12.
