PRESCOTT, Ariz. – Earlier tonight, the Yavapai Men's Basketball team faced off in a home conference game against Community Christian, who traveled from Redlands, CA. Both teams fought hard, and the Roughriders would end up victorious, winning 107-69.

In the first half, there was plenty of offense to go around! Jason Parent started off scoring Yavapai's first three buckets, followed by some great shooting from Nadir Myers, Deyishon Miller, and Martin De Laporterie. Kyle Robsinson Jr. had a three-pointer, and also had a crucial steal. A block from De Laporterie, as well as some more offense from Danilo Kojicic and Raphael Dupouy would help close out the half.

The Roughriders were up 47-31 at the half.

The second half had lots more scoring, including 4 triples from Kojicic and 4 dunks from Jediah Jones! Parent had a steal and slam at one point, and Dupouy and De Laporterie could not miss from inside the paint. Amari Lawrence and Andrew Lyon sealed the game, each with a deep three.

Yavapai won 107-69!

Danilo Kojicic would finish the game with 16 points, going 4-6 from three-point range! Nadir Myers had 15, and Deyishon Miller and Jason Parent each had 14 points.
