PRESCOTT, Ariz. – Earlier today, the Yavapai Men's Basketball team faced off against Cochise College. This was a gritty, tough game, where both teams played hard, but the visitors would end up winning 87-74.

The first half, Yavapai started off strong with multiple 3-pointers made by Nadir Myers. Kyle Robinson Jr. also had a three-pointer this half. More shots came from Jason Parent, Martin De Laporterie, Deyishon Miller, and Raphael Dupouy.

Jason Parent had 11 this half, De Laporterie had 10. YC led by 9 at the half.

The second half had more offense from Deyishon Miller, Kyle Robinson Jr., Amari Lawrence, Jason Parent, and Martin De Laporterie. Big three pointers were scored from De Laporterie, Nadir Myers, and Miller. 

Martin De Laporterie had 19 points, Nadir Myers had 14, and Jason Parent had 12.

The final score would end up being 74-87 Cochise.
