PRESCOTT, Ariz. (December 9, 2025)

2025 may be coming to a close, but there are still many more Yavapai games to be played before the New Year is brought in!

Men's Basketball

Last week, Yavapai MBB was able to get two more home W's to propel this team to a 7-5 season record!

This week is a big week for the team, as they will play in three home games, two of which are part of the Findlay Hyundai Prescott Classic, sponsored by Findlay Hyundai Prescott.

Before the classic tips off, Yavapai will face off against Taylor Made Prep at home on Tuesday, December 9th at 7 PM. This game is sponsored by Badger's Den.

Then, the Classic begins on Friday, December 12th at Noon! The first game to be played will be ACCAC conference rival Central Arizona vs. Colorado Northwestern. Yavapai's game begins after that at 2 PM, where they will have a rematch against #14 Southern Idaho.

The next day, the second day of the classic tips off at Noon, where Central AZ and CSI will battle it out in the Walraven Gym. Yavapai's game begins at 2 PM against Colorado Northwestern.

The game against CNCC is the final Yavapai MBB game of 2025, and in 2026, Yavapai will take their talents on the road and begin conference play!

Women's Basketball

The Yavapai Women's Basketball team has not had a game since November 22nd at Mesa, and they are looking to get some more reps in before conference play begins for them in 2026.

This Saturday, December 13th, after the conclusions of the Yavapai vs. CNCC MBB game, WBB will face off against Clarendon College, who are currently Receiving Votes in the AP poll. That game will tip off at 6 PM.

Yavapai WBB will return again on January 3rd, 2026 at home, where they will rematch against Mesa CC.
