PRESCOTT, Ariz. (December 12, 2025)
The first day of the Findlay Hyundai Prescott Classic has concluded, and the final game of the day was a battle between #14 Southern Idaho and Yavapai College. CSI would take the win on the road here, beating the Riders 69 to 55.
The game was a close back and forth match-up for the majority of the day, where Yavapai and CSI were tied 5 times throughout the contest and 7 lead changes happened. The Golden Eagles of Twin Falls picked up steam in the end of the second half and went on a scoring run that Yavapai could not keep up with.
Yavapai's top performer tonight was
Rudolfs Svitins, who hd 16 total points and three made 3-pointers. His 3 rebounds and 1 assists helped out the offense as well.
Torin Bosch returned from injury and came up with 11, while
Amari Lawrence and
Timotey Zoonekynd each had 8 points.
Kayne Gimore had an excellent day in the paint, grabbing 7 total rebounds.Â
Ryan Vischer had 2 blocks in this game and made a huge impact whenevr he was out on the floor for the Roughriders.
Yavapai would go on to lose 55-69 at home, only their second home loss of the season.Â
