PRESCOTT, Ariz. (December 1, 2025)

December is here! Winter is right around the corner, and so is conference play for the Men's and Women's Basketball teams! Last week featured just one Men's Basketball game, but this week, Santa Claus has come early and gifted Roughrider fans 3 more Yavapai sporting events!

Men's Basketball

Yavapai Men's Basketball has had a very good start to their season, a season in which they are currently 5-5 and are proving to be a very tough team to play at home! 

Last week, Yavapai traveled to Roswell, New Mexico for a rematch against the Broncos of New Mexico Military Institute. That game ended with a Roughrider loss, scoring 57 to their 70.

This week, three more home games are on the slate for the good guys!

On Tuesday, December 2nd, Badger's Den is sponsoring a match-up against the club team AZ SOL. Tip-off is at 6 PM.

Then, on Friday and Saturday (December 5th and 6th), Yavapai plays in two double header games against Community Christian. Game one on Friday night begins at 7 PM, while the next game is on the next day at 2 PM. Both of these games will be sponsored by Turf Monsters.

As a reminder, the following weekend will be the Findlay Hyundai Prescott Classic, a brand-new Yavapai College Men's Basketball tournament sponsored by Findlay Hyundai Prescott. All four match-ups from the weekend will be live streamed on the GoRoughriders.com website, including the two games that do not feature Yavapai.
