PHOENIX, Ariz. (November 11, 2025)

The Yavapai Women's Basketball team just completed their game against South Mountain CC, and the Roughriders scored 60 points against the Cougars' 75.

Annika Hester was the difference maker offensively for Yavapai, and her 20 points and 10 rebounds kept Yavapai in the game. Wynter Huskie had 12, and Amani Arraf had 11 off the bench.

Grecia Leon also had 10 boards this match, with 6 of them being offensive rebounds. Arraf had 7, and Esther McCabe had 6. 

Huskie was a true playmaker this game, providing 6 assists to her teammates. Hester had 4 dimes as well. 

The defensive efforts of this game were the best thus far of this young Roughrider season, where Arraf had 4 steals and a block, while McCabe had 3 steals.

Yavapai is on the road again this weekend, where they will face off against the Gauchos of Glendale CC. That game is on Saturday, November 15th, and tips off at 2 PM.
