The Yavapai Men's Basketball team began their season on the road at the Physicians Immediate Care Tournament hosted by Southern Idaho, and Yavapai would fall short to the #17-ranked Golden Eagles of Southern Idaho.
Jason Parent led scoring for the Roughriders, putting up 11 points, while alos grabbing 5 boards.
Amari Lawrence off the bench had 9 points and 1 block, while
Rudolfs Svitins and
Timotey Zoonekynd had 6 points each.Â
Ryan Vischer had 6 rebounds and 2 blocks, and
Raijon Dispensa managed to pull down 4.
Parent and Lawrence each had 2 steals.

Men's Basketball will play again tomorrow at the Southern Idaho-hosted tournament, this time against Colorado Northwestern. That game will tip off at 2 PM tomorrow, November 1st.
