HENDERSON, Nev. -- The Yavapai Men's Basketball team traveled to Henderson to face off against conference rival Southern Nevada. The game was a close one, and the Roughriders managed to pull out a tight win against the Coyotes, 69-67.
The Yavapai Men's Basketball team has been on a tear since the New Year, winning 6 of their last 8.
Jason Parent was also great tonight, as he scored a game-high 32 points! Next highest were
Martin De Laporterie (12) and
Kyle Robinson Jr. (11).
Parent also managed to grab a game-high 9 rebounds, and
Deyishon Miller grabbed 7.
Robinson and
Nadir Myers had 5 and 4 assists, respectively. Myers also had 4 steals.
UP NEXT
The guys will come back home to play against Cochise College on Saturday, February 1st. That game will tip off at 4 pm in the Walraven Gym.
