YUMA, Ariz. -- The Yavapai Men's Basketball Team traveled down to Yuma to face off against the Arizona Western Matadors. Although both sides were competitive, the Roughriders fell to the Matadors 85-64.
On offense, the starts had pretty even play, as
Jason Parent led the Yavapai scoring with 16, and
Martin De Laporterie was not far behind with 15 points. Nadir mYers had 10 points on 2 of 3 from deep.
Parent had a team-high 8 rebound game, with 6 of those being defensive boards.
Kyle Robinson Jr. led the team in assists, tallying up 3 of them in this match-up.
Parent and
Jediah Jones had 2 blocks a piece, and De Laporterie had 2 steals.
