PRESCOTT, Ariz. – Today, the Yavapai Men's Basketball team played against the visiting AZ SOL Basketball Club. The Roughriders DOMINATED the game, winning 98-50.
The first half had a lot of great offensive plays from the home team. Great dunks came from
Jason Parent,
Deyishon Miller, and
Jediah Jones.
Nadir Myers hit a few from deep as well. Good defensive plays came in the form of blocks from Parent and Miller. YC took the lead 47-26 by halftime.
The second half for Yavapai went about as well for them as it did in the first half, where players such as
Jason Parent and
Martin De Laporterie had big dunks, and
Kyle Robinson Jr. also had a hand in big scoring plays down the stretch. Robinson also had multiple second-half steals that led to immediate offense for
Deyishon Miller and
Nadir Myers. Before the game ended,
Raphael Dupouy and
Andrew Lyon checked in to make great offensive and defensive efforts.
The Yavapai Roughriders would go on to beat AZ SOL 98-50.

After the break, the Yavapai Men's Basketball team will next play on December 4th at home. The game will tip off at 7 pm against Central Arizona.
