PRESCOTT, Ariz. - Last night, the Yavapai Women's Basketball Team beat the Navajo Technical University Skyhawks 71-39 at home on Veterans' Day. The full box score is linked above, but here are some of the player stats that stood out for the home team!

Offense

#13 Courtenay Lee and #21 Stephanie Gonzalez led the team in scoring, where they respectively put up 14 and 15 points. #22 Aysja Ward was not far behind with 11 points, and #1 Amani Arraf came off the bench and scored 11. Out of Arraf's 11 points, 9 of them came from 3-pointer makes. 

On top of the points, Ward had a game-high stat of 7 assists! 

Courtenay Lee recorded a double-double, where she grabbed 11 rebounds (5 defensive, 6 offensive) with her 14 points.

Defense

On the defensive side, Ward compiled together a night full of blocks and steals! She recorded 3 blocks and 2 steals this outing.

#15 Jon'qora Moore, on top of grabbing 7 boards, scored 2 blocks and 2 steals as well. 

Stephanie Gonzalez recorded a game-high 4 steals.

The Women's Basketball team will take their talents down to Glendale this Saturday, November 16th, to face off against Glendale Community College! Their game begins at 2 pm.
