PRESCOTT, Ariz. – The Yavapai College athletics department has announced the resignation of Head Men's Basketball Coach Jay Joyner. 

Joyner was the first men's basketball coach at YC since its reinstatement in September of 2021. The resignation is a personnel matter and YC has no further comments. 

The search for a new head coach of the men's basketball team will begin immediately.
