Yavapai Baseball Unveils 2022 Schedule

PRESCOTT, Ariz. – The Yavapai College baseball team's offseason is coming to a close as the Roughriders are set to compete in just 23 days. The full schedule of 54 regular season games (not counting potential postseason games) can be found here

This season, Yavapai's home opener doubles as opening day as the Roughriders will take on the Gauchos of Glendale on Friday, January 28 at noon in game one of a doubleheader with game two set for 2:30 p.m.

The Roughriders regular season will conclude on Saturday, April 30 with a doubleheader against Central Arizona in Casa Grande, Arizona. Following the clash with the Vaqueros, the NJCAA Region 1 Tournament takes place May 5-7 and May 12-14, the NJCAA West District Finals take place May 19-21 and the NJCAA World Series is slated for May 28 - June 4. 

Overall, the Roughriders are set to play 42 conference games and 12 non-conference games. Of the 54 individual games, 26 doubleheaders are scheduled, meaning the Roughriders only have two days scheduled with single games.

Fans wishing to purchase season passes for all baseball home games can do so for $40. If fans wish to purchase season passes for baseball AND softball, they can do so for $75. To purchase, fans should reach out to Director of Athletics Brad Clifford at brad.clifford@yc.edu or 928-776-2230. 

In addition, all home contests will be streamed this season. Individual streams can be purchased for $5 while doubleheaders can be purchased for $8. Season stream passes for all baseball home games can be purchased for $55.
