GILBERT, Ariz. -- The Yavapai College volleyball team fell to the Buccaneers of Park University Gilbert 3-0 Friday night in Gilbert, Arizona. 

For the Roughriders, it's just the second time this season that they have fallen victim to a sweep. On the season, Yavapai has two sweeps themselves.

The Buccaneers earned victories in the sets by scores of 25-16, 25-14 and 25-21. 

Leading the Roughriders in kills were sophomore right hitter Sammy Holman and freshman outside hitter Kierslynn Wright with seven apiece. Freshman setter Brooke Parker led in assists while sophomore libero Brooklyn Holland led in digs with 10.
