Tim Mitzel is a seasoned philanthropic leader with over 20 years of experience in the nonprofit sector. His career is defined by a deep passion for service, helping organizations fulfill their missions through strategic fundraising, donor engagement, and community development.
Tim spent five years with Cru, including four years on the President’s Team in Orlando, Florida, where he contributed to national leadership initiatives. He has worked with several nonprofit organizations, bringing expertise in donor relations, team building, and program support. Notably, he dedicated a decade of service to the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) in North Dakota and Arizona, fostering leadership and mentorship among young athletes.
A strong advocate for youth development, Tim launched a youth sports program in Prescott, Arizona, and has coached youth football and wrestling—all driven by his commitment to investing in the next generation.
Prescott has been Tim’s home for the past five years, where he embraces the area's natural beauty and active lifestyle. You can often find him exploring local trails with his loyal companion, Kota, a beautiful German Shepherd. Known for his approachable nature and genuine care for others, Tim has a natural ability to connect with people, inspire generosity, and build lasting relationships.
