Jackson Dicker officially joined the Yavapai Athletics crew in September of 2024. As someone who grew up in Prescott, AZ and took some classes at Yavapai back in high school, Jackson is very familiar with Yavapai College and Yavapai Athletics.
Dicker previously worked in Los Angeles for 2 years as a Digital Media Operator at a post production company called Roundabout Entertainment, Inc. He worked closely with many streaming services' movies and television shows, and learned a great deal about editing software and techniques through some of the greats in Hollywood.
Jackson earned his Bachelor's Degree in Film and Television Production at the University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ. During his time there, he learned every aspect of film, including camera work, editing techniques, directing, producing, and even how to act in front of camera! He minored in Journalism, and graduated Cum Laude in 2022.
Jackson has known Prescott as his hometown since 2005, and is a huge fan of local Prescott sports, as well as Arizona sports. He grew up watching the Arizona Sundogs hit the ice, as well as having early memories of the Steve Nash Phoenix Suns in their "7 Seconds or Less" offensive phase. Jackson enjoys watching movies, sports, and hiking around the local Prescott trails!
