Jordan Bickett

Jordan Bickett will enter her 2nd season as assistant coach at Yavapai College in spring of 2021 (postponed from the fall due to COVID19).
 
Bickett helped Yavapai to a 20-win and Region Championship season in her first year with the team. She helped coach four All-ACCAC selections including Yavapai’s first Libero of the year, three All-Region picks, and a second team All-American. In the classroom, Bickett helped the Roughriders earn their third consecutive American Volleyball Coaches Association Team academic award as well as their 6th NJCAA All-American team honor.
 
Bickett comes to Yavapai after spending two years at Southern Arkansas University. During her time as a Graduate Assistant and a member of Coach Davis' staff, Bickett served as the Defensive Coordinator as well as the team’s Recruiting Coordinator and Strength and Conditioning Coordinator. Additionally, Bickett provided insight to the Lady Mulerider defense that employed a front line whose total blocks mark stands as the fourth-most in a single-season by a Southern Arkansas University team in the Rally Scoring Era (RSE) and the most for Southern Arkansas since 2007, while the blocks per set average is the best such mark in ten years.

A native of Tallahassee, Florida, Bickett partook in collegiate playing career that spanned four seasons with her most recent play coming at Augusta University of the Peach Belt Conference. While with the Jaguars, Bickett tallied 521 kills at 2.19 per set, while collecting 528 digs, 79 service aces, 79 assists, 75.0 total blocks and 641.0 total points in 238 career sets played over two seasons.

Prior to signing with Augusta University, Bickett played two seasons at NJCAA Division II Pasco-Hernando State College. In those two seasons with the Conquistadors, Bickett was a part of 64 wins and a NJCAA Division II Region 8 Championship. As a sophomore captain in 2014, she tallied 470 kills, 62 service aces, 418 digs and 73.0 total blocks on her way to being named an NJCAA Division II Second-Team All-America selection.

Bickett’s volleyball coaching career began while in junior college as she served as an assistant coach for a 12-to-15 year old club volleyball team in the Pasco-Hernando Volleyball Club for two seasons. Her duties included organizing practice, training and competition scheduling. Since then Bickett has been selected to coach at the USA Volleyball High Performance Training Programs for two years in a row. She has learned and coached the USA Women’s National Team volleyball system to some of the top volleyball athletes that are progressing through the USA Women’s National Volleyball Team Pipeline.

Academically, Bickett most recently graduated with a B.S. in Kinesiology with a focus in Exercise Science from Augusta University in May of 2017. She obtained her Masters of Science degree in Kinesiology-Coaching from Southern Arkansas University in August 2019.
