Biography
2023 (Freshman): Earned ACCAC Goalkeeper of the Week honors twice throughout the season… Started all 17 games for the Roughriders… Went 9-6-2 in goal while tallying three shutouts with 65 saves.
Stats
High School: Hempel graduated from Lakeside High School in June of 2023. While at Lakeside, she lettered all four years in five different sports: soccer, cheerleading, cross country, track and field and softball. During her freshman soccer season, the team placed fourth at state and finished in eighth during her senior campaign. In 2021, she was the fifth runner on the cross country team while the team placed sixth in the state. She was also voted most inspirational player twice on her teams.
Personal: Hempel was born in Spokane, Washington, on October 23, 2004. Her hobbies include sports, anything outdoors, reading, photography and making crafts. In the future, she aspires to become a speech language pathologist.
