Rozie DeWeese

DeWeese enters her fourth season with the Roughriders in the Fall of 2024.

DeWeese led the 2023 Roughriders to the best season in program history with a 9-6-2 overall record that included two wins over ranked opponents and a tie with the No. 2-ranked team in the country. DeWeese also coached two student-athletes to All-Conference and All-Region honors. 

In 2022, DeWeese led the Roughriders to an 8-8 overall record and 7-4 mark within the conference. She also coached four student-athletes to All-Region honors.  


DeWeese led the 2021 Roughriders (the inaugural women’s soccer season at YC) to an appearance in the NJCAA Division I Region I Championship match with a 7-11 overall record. In addition, DeWeese saw three student-athletes earn all-conference and all-region honors. 

Before coming to Yavapai, DeWeese served as an assistant coach at Sacramento State University from 2017 to early 2021. 

Prior to her time at Sacramento State University, Rozie spent 10 years as the Associate Head Coach at UC Davis and before that, was an assistant coach at Indiana State University. 

Additionally, Deweese has been a coach with the Davis Legacy Soccer Club, instructor with the Nor Cal Premier Soccer/US Soccer Federation and CEO/Director of Coaching with Capital Valley FC.
