2024 (Freshman): Earned Second-Team All-Conference and Second-Team All-Region honors… The Roughrider ace made 17 appearances on the mound in 2024 with 12 of them being starts and went 7-1 with a 3.94 ERA and 59 strikeouts in 64 innings pitched, leading the Roughriders in starts, wins, innings pitched and strikeouts. In addition to the final numbers, Oughton capped off his freshman campaign with one of the best runs any pitcher in the country had in 2024, earning victories in his final six appearances (all starts) against Mesa, GateWay, then-No. 2-ranked Central Arizona, then-No. 14-ranked Pima, Arizona Western and Eastern Arizona with the final five games all being complete-game victories. In the conference, Oughton tied for eighth in wins.

Personal: Oughton was born in Phoenix, Arizona, on October 1, 2005. His hobbies include hanging out with his friends and family and, in the future, he plans to major in kinesiology.
