2023 (Sophomore): Appeared in 17 games on the mound for the Roughriders for a total of 31.2 innings pitched and 33 strikeouts. 
Stats

High School: Groom graduated from Bishop Moore Catholic High School in May of 2020.

Before Yavapai: Before becoming a Roughrider, Groom previously attended the University of South Florida. 

Personal: Groom was born in Winston Salem, North Carolina, on June 22, 2002. In the future, he plans to major in finance.
