Biography

2024 (Freshman): Redshirted in 2024.

High School: Franz graduated from Brophy College Prep in May of 2023. As a senior, he hit .385 with a .474 OBP%, .496 SLG% and OPS of .957 while throwing out 48% of runners en route to Region Defensive Player of the Year, First-Team All-Conference and Arizona Republic Honorable-Mention honors. 

Before Yavapai: Before becoming a Roughrider, Franz previously attended Grand Canyon University. 

Personal: Franz was born in Litchfield Park, Arizona, on September 28, 2004. His hobbies include fitness and basketball. While at YC, he plans to earn his associates degree in business.
