Biography

2023 (Sophomore): Appeared in 11 games on the mound with nine starts… Pitched 48.1 innings and went 5-2… Had a 4.28 ERA with 36 strikeouts… At the plate, he hit .355 with four doubles and seven RBI’s.

2022 (Freshman): Earned ACCAC Pitcher of the Week honors on March 21 after tossing a complete-game shutout against No. 8-ranked Arizona Western College… Hit .333 at the plate… On the mound, went 4-3 with a 4.60 ERA and 72 strikeouts in 58.2 innings pitched.

High School: Skaugrud graduated from Sandra Day O'Connor High School in May of 2021 where he won a state title as a freshman and was a three-time First-Team All-Conference honoree. 

Personal: Skaugrud was born on September 17, 2002 in Peoria, Arizona. His hobbies are golf and video games and he plans to get a degree in fire science.
