2022 Stats

2022 (Freshman): NFCA Second-Team All-Region… NJCAA Division I Region I Tournament MVP… First-Team All-Conference… NJCAA All-Region… ACCAC Pitcher of the Week (twice)... Went 25-3 (fifth in the country in wins) with a 1.92 ERA and 163 strikeouts in 149.2 innings pitched… Hit .391 with two homers, one of which was at the national tournament.

High School: Darwin graduated from Benson High School in May of 2021. While at Benson, she played four years of varsity volleyball, basketball and softball. She achieved over 800 kills in volleyball, 1,600 points in basketball and 55 home runs in softball (with one of her years cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic). Was awarded with multiple region and conference recognitions in all sports, including Defensive and Offensive Player of the Year honors. In softball, she helped lead her team to a state title and two runner-up finishes with career stats of a .581 batting average and 1.72 ERA. She was an Arizona Central Sports Award Player of the Year nominee and Maxpreps All-American in addition to a two-time Female Athlete of the Year for the Herald Review Best of Preps winner. She was also a member of the National Honors Society. 

Personal: Darwin was born on October 29, 2002 in Denton, Texas. Her hobbies include basketball, volleyball, fishing, traveling, hunting and hanging out with her friends and family. In the future, she plans to teach and coach.
