Biography

2021 (Freshman): Started and played in 16 games for the Roughriders… Tallied five assists on the season.

High School: Mata Cruz graduated from Online Learning Academy in May of 2021. At Independence High School, he played varsity all four years, winning the region every year as well. During his sophomore campaign, he scored in every single region game. 

Personal: Mata Cruz was born on October 9, 2002 in Phoenix, Arizona. His hobbies include soccer, board games and video games. He plans to attain his associates degree from Yavapai.
