PRESCOTT, Ariz. (February 28, 2026)

The Yavapai Men's Basketball season of 2025-26 has concluded, ad before they tipped off their game against Cochise, they would honor their 7 graduating Sophomores before the game: Jason Parent, Amari Lawrence, Andrew Lyon, Kayne Gilmore, Ryan Vischer, Torin Bosch, and Raijon Dispensa.

The Roughriders would face off in a tough battle against the Apaches of Cochise, but the guys would fall short in an 80-63 loss.

While tonight was a Sophomore showcase, the freshman Timotey Zoonekynd had a great game, scoring a team-high 20 points and draining 4 three-pointers off the bench! Amari Lawrence had 11, and Rudolfs Svitins had 10. 

Zoonekynd, Lawrence, and Svitins all had 3 assists this game, and the sophomore guard Andrew Lyon had a team-high 9 rebounds.

While the game was close at moments, Cochise would eventually pull away with the lead and win 80-63.
