PRESCOTT, Ariz. (February 16, 2026)
Yavapai Athletics has been very busy this February! With four sports still happening (some seasons wrapping up, others just getting started), this week is crucial, especially since there will be 9 more Roughrider games to follow along with!
Baseball
Yavapai Baseball had a great weekend last weekend, shutting down Ottawa AZ in their 2-game series, including a 19-4 win!
This week, Baseball has three more games.
The first game will be on Tuesday, February 17th, a home match against Douglas College. That game will begin at 1:30 PM.
Then, if the weather has ideal conditions attached, then Baseball will play another home game on Wednesday, February 18th against Thompson Rivers University, which would begin at 1:30 PM as well.
At the end of the week, on Friday the 20th, Yavapai will head down to play a single game against Phoenix College. That game will begin at 2 PM.
Softball
Softball has just two more games before their conference match-ups begin!
On Thursday, February 19th, Yavapai will head down to Phoenix to play in a 2-game series against Phoenix College. Those games will begin at 12 & 2 PM.
Women's Basketball
Yavapai WBB's 2025-26 season is 2 weeks away from coming to a close, which means there are only a handful more games left this year. Two of the remaining 4 games will be this week.
The first game is at Southern Nevada on Wednesday, February 18th, and the game will tip off at 6:30 PM MST or 5:30 PM PST.
Then, Yavapai's road trip continues down to Coolidge for a Saturday the 21st match-up against Central Arizona. That game tips off around 2 PM.
Men's Basketball
The Yavapai Men's Basketball team has an important stretch coming up. The Riders will need to defeat both Southern Nevada and Central Arizona in order to help their chances of securing a spot in the postseason. Speaking of which, Yavapai Men's Basketball will be playing against Southern Nevada AND Central Arizona this week!
The Southern Nevada game in Henderson will tip off at 8:30 PM MST/7:30 PM PST on Wednesday, Feb. 17th.
The Central Arizona game is this Saturday, Feb. 21st in Coolidge, and will begin at 4 PM.
