PRESCOTT, Ariz. (February 11, 2026)
The Yavapai Men's Basketball team just completed their game against ACCAC rival Cochise, and the Apaches would outlast the Roughriders 79-60 in the pivotal conference match.
Yavapai had some great plays in this game, including some high flying dunks from
Jason Parent and
Rudolfs Svitins, but they could not make up the deficit in the second half.
Jason Parent, who has been in a lull scoring-wise as of late, scored 23, going 10-18 from the field, as well as pulling down a team-high 9 rebounds and 2 assists.
Svitins also had a relatively good game off the bench, scoring 15 and draining 2 from deep.
Torin Bosch had 9, and
Timotey Zoonekynd had 6.
The Roughriders fell short to the Apaches 79-60.
