Yavapai Women's Soccer has defeated Western Nebraska 6-0, leaving the Roughriders with a 2-0 start to the season!

Out of the six goals scored, 2 of them came from Sophomore Sophia Fottrell, who also had 2 shots on the goal.

The other goals came from Jill Young, Gracey Fowlkes, Reagan Peterson, and Bethanee Vargas.

Clutch assists came from Nataly Arangure, Morgan McLane, Mia Howser, Mari Holladay, and Kara Donegan.

Starting goalkeeper Poppy Anderson had 3 saves, allowing zero balls to fly by her.

The Women's Soccer team will return home for their home opener! On Tuesday, August 26th, the Roughriders will face off against Scottsdale CC. This game is at Ken Lindley and will begin at 4:30 PM.
