The Yavapai Women's Soccer team won their first game of the regular season against Northwest!

YC outscored the Trappers 1-0 at the Snow College Invitational in Ephraim, UT.

The one goal was scored by Sophomore Forward Jill Young, with an assist from the Freshman from Utah, Dottie Bethers.

Yavapai had 7 total shots on the goal, with 3 of them coming from Sophomore Kiera Campbell.

Goalkeepers Poppy Anderson and Talon Bennett each had 3 saves, both allowing zero goals from their competitors!

On Saturday, August 23rd, Yavapai will continue their invitational play at Snow College with a head-to-head match-up against Western Nebraska. Kickoff begins at 10 AM PST.
