PRESCOTT, Ariz. (December 13, 2025)
The second day of the Findlay Hyundai Prescott Classic proved to be a great one for the Roughriders, as they were able to defeat the Spartans of Colorado Northwestern. Yavapai Men's Basketball would win by 7 at home.
After starting off on a 9-0 run in the beginning of the first half, Yavapai never let their foot off of the gas pedal, and cruised to a sweet victory at home!
Once again,
Timotey Zoonekynd and
Rudolfs Svitins prove to be reliable offensive weapons, as they had 17 and 16 in the game, respectively. They had 7 combined 3-pointers in the game.
Torin Bosch, back from injury, had 11 and looked unstoppable in the first half.
While not scoring the ball as much this contest,
Amari Lawrence had 2 assists, while Svitins dished out 3.Â
The real story of this game was the Spartan's lack of ball control, as Yavapai recorded 10 steals in this game. 3 of those steals came from Zooonekynd, while another 3 came from
Alex Pierce!
Yavapai would win this game 63-56 at home at the Findlay Hyundai Prescott Classic, sponsored by Findlay Hyundai Prescott!
