BULLHEAD CITY, Ariz. (October 11, 2025)

The Yavapai Women's Soccer team made their way up to Bullhead City earlier today to face off in an ACCAC match-up vs. the Bighorns of Mohave. The two teams had a defensive battle and the final score would end up as a 0-0 tie.

Sophia Fottrell and Mia Howser were the closest in this game to score a goal, having 2 shots on the goal apiece. Nataly Arangure and Bethanee Vargas each had a couple shots of their own as well, but none could sneak the ball into the net.

Talon Bennett, coming off a historic week as the Goalkeeper of the Week in both the ACCAC and the NJCAA, had 8 saves, allowing zero goals!

In one week, Yavapai will make their way down to Douglas to face off against Cochise. That game kicks off at 4:30 PM on Saturday, October 18th.
